Route 66 Days and Nights Street Festival
This weekend was Albuquerque's first annual Route 66 Days and Nights Street Festival on Central in Nob Hill. They had the whole street blocked off. It felt weird to walk on such a busy street without having to watch for any cars. We kept looking both ways before we stepped off the curbs without even realizing it. The street festival was a fun experience. Lots of things to look at. Good food. Interesting music (some good, some terrible), normal people and unique people (one person in particular needed serious deoderant, and could be smelled downwind for literally 500 ft. It was gross). Great weather. All in all, it was a fun thing to do. Here are some of my favorite photos.

The Fowler Family
Last weekend I did photos of the Fowler family. We started out in the Sandia mountains, and then stopped at the ski area, but were unable to finish because we were interrupted by rain. Lots of rain. We ended up driving back to Albuquerque (big clouds, lots of rain, slim chance of having enough light in the mountains after the rain ended) and finished up our session in Nob Hill. Lots of fun in Nob Hill.
